Mixed Results for the U/11's in Rd 10

This week the boys played 2 games in Round 10 at Jubilee Ovals Griffith.
The first game was against the Waratahs. The boys defended strongly and looked sharp with the ball in hand.
A try to Kalem Thompson and then shortly after another to Trevor Doolan, after being on the end of a slick back line spread had the Raiders up 12-4 at the break.
A second half try to Calum Dunn and when Kalem Thompson scored his second for the match after chasing through a kick from Blake McDonald, the game was sealed. Leeton running out winners 24-10.

The second game was against the B&W’s. Leeton started well forcing an error off the kick off. From the subsequent set off six, a strong surge from Noah Maybon, who offloaded to Cody Browne, who in turn passed wide to Jordon Duffy who crossed over in the corner for his first 4 pointer of the season.
Two crucial mistakes had the boys trailing 12-4 at the break.
An error from Leeton at the commencement of the second half, had the boys down 18-4. The first of Blake McDonalds 2 second half tries narrowed the gap to 18-10, but that was as close as the scores got, with the B&W’s running out winners 34-16
